some tips to do the pronunciation exercises

-ending with "ch" we have six ways to pronounce

+"ch"-/t/ in two words:branch and debouch

+"ch"-/k/      .if we see "m" or "p" letter at the beginning of a word which has two syllables, we pronounce the "ch" at the end of this word is/k/

e.g. matriarch, monarch,partriarch,pibroch...

                        .in some forms

a).s............ch: sassenach, stomach......

b)...............ych: triptych.......

c)................ech: cromlech.............

d)ol...................: olptych.............

e) in some words: conch, loch, mach

+"ch"-/∫/ .when you see "k/ch" appear in the beginning of a word

e.g. kirsch, chaffinch

a). s.............nch: scrunch, stanch.....

b) in some words mulch, tench

+"ch"-/x/ in one word: reich

+"ch"-/dz/ in one word: sandwich

+"ch"-/t∫/ the rest

e.g. milch, overmuch.........
